Freebord

A while back I came across this interesting video on youtube. The video caught my attention because the title was “Skateboard Like A Snowboarder,” so of coarse i clicked on it. These are crazy downhill boards that have a third wheel on each truck, allowing you to carve like a snowboarder. To add to the snowboarding aspects, there are plastic foot cuffs that keep your feet attached to the board but also allowing you to release your feet freely. I have talked to my downhill skater friends and they say freeborders are junk but it still seems very interresting to me. The freebord is equipt for down hill high speeds, but as I continued my youtube adventure I began to see frreborders doing tricks. Like sets and hug gaps. It is very cool to watch but seems dangerous because this relatively new sport has already seem death. On the other hand, always strap up and go have some fun!

La Jolla 18

So lately I have been dropping a lot of snowboarding videos and info on the blog and today would be the day to start something new. So I found this pretty sick video of Nyjah Huston. So apparently just 2 days before the X Games 2K12 Real Street part deadline, Nyjah and some of his buddies hit up La Jolla. La Jolla is a high school that has a perfect 18 down rail. Nyjah of coarse being the best, decided to go and front side blunt the 18 rail. The Clip I have below shows Nyjah’s many attempts that looks quiet painful. Each fall there is a flying hat or shoe from Nyjah’s body. Then this dick comes and starts to mess with Nyjah’s filmers. He threatens to call the cops but before the pigs arrive your boy Nyjah nails the fs blunt perfectly. He also ends up winning the X Games Real Street part. Check the video but dont think a fs blunt is as easy as it looks here!
